Free. About 1 MB. macOS 14 or later. Signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens with a double-click like anything else.

Installing

1. Open the file you downloaded.
2. Drag PrinterAI into your Applications folder.
3. Open it. It looks at your printer straight away and tells you what it finds.

What it asks for

One permission: Local Network, so it can check whether your printer is switched on. Say no and everything else still works — it just can't tell you that one thing, and it says so rather than guessing.

No account. No email address. Nothing is collected.

If macOS won't open it

It shouldn't happen — the app is notarised by Apple. If it does, right-click the app and choose Open, which offers a confirmation the plain double-click doesn't.
